The first Fraternal Order of Police started in 1915, by a
group of Police Officers from Pittsburgh, P.A. Shortly after that
the F.O.P. became a national organization with lodges in every
state, and there are even some lodges overseas. The Fraternal Order
of Police is the world's largest organization of sworn law
enforcement officers, with more than 2,100 lodges and over 325,000
members.
The Fraternal Order of Police stands with those who dedicate their
lives to protecting and serving our communities. We are committed to
improving the working conditions, wages and benefits of law
enforcement officers, and by monitoring legislation affecting law
enforcement on the local, state and national levels.
And while our officers are spending their time helping you, we are
spending ours helping them!!!
